Zarvan
Rahmani
I teach English, and I enjoy every bit of it. mostly self-taught, and a bit of help from some great teachers. I'm still polishing my English, But it's legit.
Saqqez, Kurdistan, Iran
A bit about me
I'm currently studying English Literature at the University of Kurdistan, and alongside my studies I used to teach English at a private language school in Saqqez, mostly teenagers, plus the occasional class of younger kids, which was a challenge but not impossible.
I don't claim to be a native speaker, but I'm told my accent leans convincingly British. I'm genuinely good with grammar, the kind of person who notices a misplaced apostrophe and give them a quick yet thorough explanation. I try to explain things as simply as the explanation will allow, no jargon for the sake of sounding clever.
Patient, by nature
Teenagers test it, kids demolish it. I still have plenty left over.
Explains things simply
Simplicity is the key, nobody wants to listen to an essay.
Grammar, sorted
Grammar just comes in naturally, maybe because of the sheer exposure to English.
Language ability
Self-rated, and I tried not to round up.
